Upon purchasing coaching, you'll receive further instructions on how to book a time for your appointment.
Can I purchase coaching after the 6 months are up?
Absolutely! If you find yourself in need of more coaching sessions, simply purchase an individual session.
What makes this class different from everyone else’s?
I have a specific, holistic understanding of how product and social media go together. I’m unique because I blend my background in product design with 11+ years of social media experience. I can see how both sides work and how they can work together. Also, I’m a stylist and I take a lot of my own photos, so I ‘get’ each part of the business and what goes into a small business. I’ve hustled for over 11 years and fully understand what it takes to get your product out there. The tools that I’m sharing in my course have helped me grow my business, gain new followers, and not feel overwhelmed. Every single thing I’m sharing in this class is something I’ve literally done. And lastly, people keep asking for me help in this way! I’ve offered consulting services to larger companies before, but my true passion is helping small businesses, especially ones that are minority-owned, flourish. I am passionate about sharing my knowledge… and I want to be more of a resource for you!
What kind of business is this geared toward?
I modeled this class after a few of the small businesses I’ve helped such as a jewelry maker, local clothing boutique, and winery. I want my social media class to help small businesses with a physical product who are looking to expand into a national audience (Pinterest is huge for this). Also, I’d love to help interior designers who want to build an audience for their designs and inspiration. The Jojotastic School of Social Media is also beneficial for newcomers to the influencer community because I discuss my full workflow and divulge 'secrets' on how I've run my business successfully for over 10 years.
Is this for someone just starting out or someone looking to hone their skills?
I designed the Jojotastic School of Social Media to be applicable to both, but my hope is that most attendees won’t be just starting out. I don’t want the course to turn into ‘how to start an Instagram account.’ I also worry that would impact the other attendees’ ability to learn what they need. Instead, I want to share tips, tricks, and tools that build on what you’ve already started.
What if I am unhappy with the class?
Social media can be a tricky topic and one where results are difficult to gauge at times. That being said, I would never want you to be unhappy! If you are unsatisfied with your purchase, contact us in the first 30 days with feedback and we will handle refunds on a case by case basis.
By enrolling, you agree to the following Mentoring Agreement:
We have voluntarily entered into a mentoring relationship. As a mentee, you will openly discuss your career goals and experiences for the purpose of shared learning and career enhancement. As a mentor I agree to respect my mentee in regards to their independent goals. We agree to attempt to work through any communication challenges or relationship conflicts that may arise during the relationship in good faith. The Mentor may terminate this relationship at any time, for any reason, by notifying the mentee in writing.
We each understand that confidentiality is critical to developing a trusting and successful, mentoring relationship. Therefore, we agree to maintain the confidentiality of the personal and business experiences that we share with each other. Furthermore, we understand that we will both uphold the same reasonable standard of confidentiality. In the event one of us would like to share confidential information publicly or with any third party, including but not limited to disclosure of the existence of our mentoring relationship, the disclosing party shall obtain the other party’s written consent prior to sharing such information.
We commit to working together for 2 sessions each month for a period of 6 months. The mentee is responsible for booking each session and completing all Assessments at least 24 hours before the session. You can reserve each session up to 60 days in advance.
You will receive:
- 1 initial assessment via one-on-one session via phone call with Joanna, 1.5 hours long
- 11 one-on-one session via phone call with Joanna, 2 per month, each an hour long
- Each follow up session is 1 hour long. Prior to each session, you will be sent questions to reveal areas of interest for us to explore further, leading to a clear understanding of what to do next on social media to achieve your goals.
- After each session, you will automatically receive a transcription of our meeting to re-visit as often as you’d like.
- Invitation to a shared Pinterest board (with over 320,000 followers) with the understanding that you will not spam the board and/or otherwise abuse access to it

- Unlimited access to a Facebook group to discuss & connect with other small businesses
- Exclusive access to book additional one-on-one sessions with Joanna for follow up and personalized tips
Your appointments and well-being are very important to us. We understand that sometimes, unexpected delays can occur, making schedule adjustments. If you must cancel or reschedule your appointment, we respectfully request 24 hour notice. Missed appointments, or appointments cancelled without 24 hour notice, will result in forfeiture of the session's cost.
If you are more than 15 minutes late for your session, we may not be able to accommodate you. In this case, you will be given an opportunity to reschedule once. We will do our best to reschedule your service for another time that is convenient to you.
All payments will be made through Teachable according to the payment plan you have selected. Failure to pay or late payments will automatically cancel remaining appointments until payment is received. All transactions are processed via Stripe. All major international cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express) are supported by Stripe.
Both parties agree to follow the terms of this Mentoring Agreement for the period specified and to make a good faith effort to resolve any issues that may arise between them. For any additional questions or concerns, please email [email protected]
